In sum, the experience was wonderful and I enjoyed it so much. So to win an award from LensCulture—to be on this platform with millions of viewers—no one could ask for something better than that. This year has been amazing! I also had solo and a group show in Milan. The LensCulture award led to a lot of exposure as well as licensing of the images, a couple of exhibitions, and a ton of interviews, so it has truly been great.
A lot of doors have been opened because of this. I'm now starting to work on my next project. Concretely, the audience that visited my website is huge and my profile has definitely been raised during Because of the press from the LensCulture Award, I had my work featured in the New Journal of Zurich , one of the oldest newspapers in the world. My series was also written about in a number of publications, from Fast Company to Wired. I was also fortunate to show the work at the Aperture Foundation in their Summer Open exhibition.
After the announcement, I also had requests to print the image in two publications one in France, one in Germany among other news. After I was named a finalist in the Exposure Awards, my work was published in the following publications: My work was also published in two printed magazines: Les Others and Renk. Being selected as a finalist in the Awards brought positive news indeed. I was contacted by several websites and was published in several online publications.
The best were National Geographic Travel and Wired! Hypebeast, Highsnobiety, Unrated, and a few other sites published my work as well.
